Mike Delorean of Bars-N-Hooks Says Prodigy’s Mural Was Defaced Because of His Book ‘My Infamous Life’

Mobb Deep fans were highly upset at the sight of the mural in Queensbridge dedicated to Prodigy being defaced not once, but twice by unknown vandals and someone in the know is finally explaining why. Mike Delorean of Bars-N-Hooks, which was the first rap group on Prodigy’s Infamous Records label, is breaking his silence and explaining the real reason why they can no longer have a Prodigy mural in Queensbridge. Check it out below and let us know what you think….

Mike Delorean told Gully TV that the mural was defaced because of certain parts of Prodigy’s 2011 book “My Infamous Life”where some felt the Mobb Deep rapper disrespected deceased and incarcerated Queensbridge natives.

6 years ago, Delorean spoke about being close to P but said various parts of P’s book rubbed certain QB natives the wrong way, including the part about Mike’s own mother who is deceased. In it, Prodigy spoke about Mike’s mom possibly having sex with Supreme Team member Green Eyes. Prodigy says that Mike’s mother had him and his family calling Green Eyes by the name “Uncle” in an attempt to play it off. Delorean also brought up Prodigy calling CNN member Capone a snitch and mentioning Mike’s scuffle with Nas in the book as some of the reasons why it wasn’t all love for P in QB. Delorean claims they weren’t trying to disrespect hip-hop, but rather repaying Prodigy for going at their own dead family members. Check it out below and let us know what you think…
